Astro Coffee is gearing up for an incredible 2025 season, and we’re looking for passionate, hardworking, and friendly individuals to join our team!
Please note: our season runs from May through October, and this is when we need all hands on deck to keep up with our events and customers. If you have significant vacation plans during this time, Astro Coffee may not be the best fit for you. We’re looking for team members who can commit to being present during the summer to help us make the most of our busiest season!
We may be able to start some part-time positions as early as April for training or prep work. There could be opportunities for hours in the winter, but we won’t know for sure until later in the year. If you’re available for the core season, we’d love to hear from you!
We're hiring for several roles:
1. Food Truck Lead – Full Time
2. Event Staff – hours dependent on events, Team A & Team B
Job Title: Food Truck Lead (Full-Time, Seasonal)
Warehouse Location: Golden, CO
Compensation: Average $23-$26/hour (base pay starting at $18.81/hour + tip pool). Minimum $22-25/hour guaranteed by company DOE, with potential for a raise after 30-day performance review.
Season: May to October, with the possibility of additional hours during the fall and winter, depending on events. Training sessions with limited hours commence in April. Weekend availability is a non-negotiable requirement (Friday to Sunday).
Position Overview:
As Food Truck Lead, your primary responsibility will be running and maintaining Astro Coffee Van, Astro Coffee Trailer, or Cart and overseeing the execution of various events (including farmers markets, private catering, festivals, concerts, and more).Your primary focus will be on events. You will be expected to take ownership of the van, trailer or cart’s day-to-day operations and maintenance and be flexible to adjust to event demands as they arise.

EVENT TEAM MEMBERS (COFFEE VAN & CATERING)
Warehouse Location: Golden, CO
Compensation: average $23-26/hour (base pay $18.81/$15.79 + tip pool)
Part time & Seasonal
Our event staff are the heart of our business, bringing the Astro Coffee experience to weddings, parties, festivals, and beyond. We’re hiring for two types of event staff:
We’re looking for part time coffee van & event staff for this season that runs from May - October. This position entails working a variety of food truck events including farmers markets, pop-ups, concerts and festivals. This role could also include serving coffee from our coffee cart at events.
This is a very customer service oriented role and ideal for a candidate looking to take ownership of operating the coffee van or cart. We’re looking for candidates that have experience in food service (restaurant, hotel, catering, or food truck), retail, or customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Be the face of the brand and assist with all customer service from serving the drinks and specials to ringing up transactions and cash handling
● Maintain product knowledge and answer any questions customers may have with excellent customer service
● Deliver coffee cart to and from events, serve coffee from cart
● Ensure everything is packed correctly before leaving for events in a timely manner, ensure everything gets put back in place upon return according to company standards including cleaning dishes, trash and recycling removal
● Maintain a clean, food safe, and tidy work environment per company standards
● Follow guidelines set forth by our farmers markets, events, and partners to ensure our success and return invitation for future seasons and events
● Other duties as assigned
Requirements
● Ability to stand on your feet for several hours in a range of temperatures; we work in all weather and seasons
● Ability to lift minimum 60 pounds
● Reliable transportation to our commissary and event sites around the Denver Metro area
● Flexible working hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Team A needs to have more availability where Team B is perfect for those with limited availability.
● Clean driving record and valid driver’s license (Team A)
